When the ceremony is over, and after the reception winds down into the night, or our evening together with the family has come and gone, these photos should tell your story over and over again. It’s my job to make that as effortless and stress-free as possible.

So, here we go — let’s get it all out on the table.

Choosing a wedding photographer is a big deal. I totally get that. I also know that, when I was getting married,

I didn't want to be a client – I wanted to be a partner.
You should know what you're getting into from the start. That's where I come in.

A spontaneous adventurer

An empathetic newlywed

A lover of all things sweet (especially cake!)

A smiler with a contagious laugh

I work with couples and families to capture their happiest, purest moments of love. I believe in the unposed, the unplanned and the uninitiated; the small moments that make you, you. I endeavor to build a meaningful relationship with each person, and build on it to frame their stories in honesty and truth. Wedding photography and portrait photography is so much more than images; it’s about working together to make a keepsake.

WEDDING

Close the Pinterest board. Put the wedding magazines away. What do you want your wedding to feel like? Who do you want to be there? What details do you care about most? I care about capturing the day you’ve always wanted — I care about you.
It doesn’t matter if it’s your hometown, the first place you met, or a new country altogether. It’s your wedding, and it should feel like your wedding. So, let’s capture it all. Let’s do it differently.

PORTRAIT SESSIONS

What do you imagine your session being like? How do you want to feel at your session? What details do you care most about? I care about capturing what makes you happy, I care about you and the pictures you dream about hanging in your home. What do those show to you? Your session should show how you are, how you interact with one another, how happy you are to be with one another. Let's capture it all. Let's do it differently.

Photography is my passion. The excitement that I feel capturing that perfect shot of the groom seeing his bride for the first time or when the bride dances with her father and there isn't a dry eye in the place is overwhelming! Capturing the love of a family that is reunited after months apart, the pure joy of a brand new mother and father for their new baby, freezing time as the senior is anxiously awaiting graduation day. That's my passion, to capture the genuine, emotional, pure memories in a way that will be cherished forever.

When I was in 8th grade I got my first DSLR camera, before that I used my moms' flip phone, or my dad's small point and shoot, I was constantly taking photos! When I graduated high school I decided to go to Northwest College in Powell Wyoming. As crazy as it sounds, this small town, community college was ranked 8th in the nation for their commercial photography program. I learned so much there, but if anything, my infatuation with photography was turned into true love. It's the opportunity to capture things that not everyone can see. Those special moments that sometimes sneak away, that should be captured and kept forever to cherish. While my love affair with photography continued, I also met my best friend and married him 6 months later. From there he continued to support me and help me with my photography dream. We now have three (yes I need updated photos, oops!) wonderful children that make the best models, and I guess you could say that we are living our crazy, exciting, happily ever after.
